People Say the Nicest Things!

Amy's program has been life-changing for me and is the reason I've been able to appreciate the process of getting sober and finding joy in sobriety.

Prior to working with Amy, I had previous long-term stints at sobriety that ultimately didn't stick and I'd revert to old habits. Amy's guidance has given me the tools and support I need to embrace sobriety fully. The goal setting, boundary setting, and action steps meant that I always had a strategy for staying sober. Beyond that, working with Amy helped me create a life that is more intentional and makes me happy.

Being guided by someone with lived experience has been incredibly reassuring for me, and Amy's knowledge about creating a sober life has been invaluable. She helped me challenge and change my beliefs about alcohol and its impact on my life. By bringing situations I was finding challenging to Amy, she helped me interrogate my thoughts and now alcohol doesn't hold the same power over me. I’ve found socialising sober much easier; have got other strategies for using when I’m stressed where previously I’d turn to alcohol, and ways to prevent getting stressed and overwhelmed.

I've tried a lot of other avenues to get sober and none had anywhere close to the impact working with Amy has. It was the first time I knew I was speaking to someone who not only got where I was at but also came from a place of knowing it could be better. Not just better but wonderful, and she challenged me and held me accountable for doing that. Being able to question the norms around alcohol culture also really resonated for me and I feel genuinely optimistic about what lies ahead.

I'm so grateful I found Amy's program when I did.

It is my pleasure to write this testimonial in support of Amy and the work she does. Amy is way more than a sobriety coach. She’s a life coach. She has a profound sense of truth and she helped me find mine. She has a strong sense of boundaries and she helped me find mine. She has a deep sense of the good in life and she helped me find mine.

When we are drinking, we lose normal. We lose our innate ability to recognize our truth, our boundaries and our good. But when we put the alcohol down, we have to build a whole new way of being in the world. Amy helped me do that. I am deeply grateful to her and thankful for the work we’ve done together. I cannot recommend her highly enough

I am deeply grateful to her and thankful for the work we've done together. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I am forever grateful to have been able to work with Amy, who has changed my life in profound ways. With her guidance and support, I'll be hitting 100 days without alcohol next week.

I am forever grateful to have been able to work with Amy, who has changed my life in profound ways.

Before entering her program, I could stay sober for 30 days - max. I was craving a true change my life, one where I could be sober longer and experience the clarity and healing I kept hearing about. Reading books and following sober accounts on instagram only took me so far- I wanted to take meaningful action and have accountability. That’s what her program gifted me.

The beauty of Amy’s program was that I was introduced to a variety of methods and tools I could start practicing immediately. These tools were challenging at first, but more importantly they were data-driven and simple. The only thing I needed to bring was my willingness to try. Eventually I developed a strong routine that kept me grounded and helped foster self-compassion, patience, and confidence.

Amy was open about her personal journey, which helped foster a trusting relationship and self-compassion for my own story. She is the first to celebrate your wins, offer curiosity instead of judgement, and help bring perspective to your experiences. She is the ultimate resource for anyone looking to change their relationship with alcohol.

With her her guidance and support, I’ll be hitting my 100 days without alcohol next week.

Amy, you are a gem and because of you I found strength in my self. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!!

When I had my intro call with Amy I was just over 6 months sober. I felt pretty good about my sobriety and my life in general but felt like maybe there was more I could be doing to become a better version of myself. On that first call, Amy asked me what would be possible if I felt unshakable in my sobriety, if I could regulate my emotions, if I were resilient. I thought “well anything would be possible but there’s no way I’ll be able to do all of that…”

By our last session together, I fully believed that anything is possible. Amy was patient and knowledgeable and she constantly challenged me to go one step further in becoming the best version of myself.

The work we did together was not easy but was incredibly rewarding. I saw so much development in myself from session to session. Amy helped me believe, trust and love myself again. She helped me regain control of my life that I didn’t realize was lost. I’m forever grateful to have met and worked with Amy on my journey

By our last session together, I fully believed that anything is possible.

Amy makes me feel safe and supported which is why I have returned time and again for coaching.

I have worked with Amy three times in the last two years. Each time I have gained new insight into my behavior that has allowed me to evolve into todays version of myself (which thank god is a more self aware, resilient and calm version than the me of two years ago.)

When I reached out to Amy for coaching this time it was to help me with the pattern I was seeing of replacing alcohol with food. We worked on mindset and challenged my beliefs around ‘rewarding’ myself via an external source. We went over how important morning routines are to centering oneself and setting myself up for success. Over time the sessions evolved such that we worked on challenging professional situations that arose and problem solved action items that made me feel focused and capable of meeting the challenges versus feeling defeated. Amy’s willingness to tailor our sessions to these new challenges  I was facing reflects how skilled she is in understanding the needs of her client.

Amy makes me feel safe and supported which is why I have returned time and again for coaching. Further,  I willingly share her articles on various sobriety groups, not out of obligation, but simply because her insight is so valuable and has brought me so much peace that I want more people to discover the power in her words. I highly recommend Amy to anyone who wants an ally as they work to change their mindset and behavior.

I worked with Amy for nearly a year before I was ready to set sail on my own.

She'd say "it takes as long as it takes" and we continued to peel back layers to better understand my tendencies for things like people pleasing and conflict avoidance. We'd work together to identify points of friction and then used tools like journaling, meditating and boundaries coupled with action items we'd set together for accountability.

We would also celebrate progress (big and small) along the way.

This was a recipe for getting to know myself better, coming into my power and engaging in the world in a different, more meaningful way that challenged me to live into my priorities every day. I am so thankful to Amy for who she is and what she does: a coach, a friend, and a badass!

Since the beginning of my work with Amy, I felt supported, cared for, inspired and absolutely cheered on. I think the biggest lesson I learned is that I am worthy of taking up space and living life to please me and not others. She encouraged me to set boundaries and that transformed my life. Working with Amy has helped me make changes in my life I didn't think were possible. I feel confident, I know what I want and how to get it, I can feel all the goodness I created with her support and encouragement. This has since radiated to my family and friends. I am breaking generational cycles, feeling so connected with myself and those I love and living a dream life that has come true.

I will forever hold gratitude and love in my heart for Amy and her positive approach to helping me on my journey.

Amy does so much more than support your sobriety; her coaching program will impact all areas of your life. Amy knows how to ask the right questions at the appropriate time and accepts your answer without judgement.

If you've been curious about how sobriety can change your life and are open to levelling up in ways you can't yet imagine, I highly recommend Amy C. Willis and her Lose the Booze Group Coaching Program.

Amy does so much more than support your sobriety: her coaching program will impact all areas of your life. She gently guides you to discover the underlying causes of your own destructive coping mechanisms and provides training on how to implement helpful habits in their place. Amy's coaching style does not feel pushy but does provide tough love when needed. Amy knows how to ask the right questions at the appropriate time and accepts your answer without judgment. She understands that each individual requires a slightly different approach and what may work for one person may not work for another.

My progress through this program led by Amy resulted in a handful of important realizations about myself and my thought patterns. (Hello, people pleasing & social anxiety - didn't see you there). These realizations and the work thereafter have translated into more authenticity and ease in all areas of my life including my relationships with my partner, friends, and family, as well as my work life, and, most importantly, my relationship with myself.

Feeling supported through the early stages of sobriety was incredibly helpful to the success of my continued sobriety. Knowing that there is community out there and people who “get it” has been an integral part of maintaining my sobriety through a pandemic. I found this training so supportive and worthwhile that I’m taking it all over again! That’s right, I’m signing on for another eight weeks. If you’re feeling the pull, join us!

If you've been reconsidering the role alcohol plays in your life, I can't recommend this program enough! Amy has developed a program that feels achievable. Not only will you dig in deep to work on how to change your relationship with alcohol, this work will also provide insight into other areas of your life.

During the weekly coaching sessions, Amy helped me navigate everything from getting better sleep to having difficult conversations with friends and loved ones all while challenging me to really investigate my relationship with alcohol. The support you receive combined with the tools (workbooks, book recommendations, tapping instructions, breath work) along with the other women who are taking part in the program really provided me with a safe, open space with resources to do some of the hard work it takes to become alcohol free.

- Client A, Lose the Booze Group Coaching Client, March 2022

Amy helped me navigate everything from getting better sleep to having diffcult conversations with friends and loved ones all while challenging me to really investigate my relationship with alcohol.

She taught me to be curious about my feelings, provided me with language and tools to express those feelings and to be comfortable with uncomfortable feelings and to not numb them by drinking.

I have to admit I was hesitant about taking this step – financially and emotionally, I had tried to stop drinking alcohol many times, I could not comprehend how eight weeks with a stranger could really help. Amy provided not only accountability which helped me with the initial challenges of quitting drinking but as the weeks went on it became very apparent through her coaching I was not drinking because I loved alcohol, it was a symptom of other things, the last few weeks we met the word alcohol barely entered the conversation.  She taught me to be curious about my feelings, provided me with language and tools to express those feelings and to be comfortable with uncomfortable feelings and to not numb them by drinking. The sessions with Amy have been truly transformational and I have learned so much and I am excited to continue on my journey of learning.

If you are even considering working with Amy, I encourage you to talk to her, you will notice right away her emotional intelligence and how truly passionate she is about this process.

I have worked with Amy as a 1:1 client and as a part of her group coaching program. I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with such an inspiring sobriety coach! Amy shows up for each session with authentic care for clients’ goals.

Through our work together, I have committed to my sobriety in a way that I never have before. The work with Amy goes beyond giving up alcohol. In our sessions we talked about setting boundaries, establishing self care practices and sleep schedules! It’s not just about getting rid of alcohol, it’s about creating practices in your life that help you lead a fuller and happier life.
